IF Webinars

ICS Intelligence Functions (IF) have been described as part of the ICS infrastructure in NHSE/I’s Integrating Care, and the ICS Design Framework.

NHSE/I are set to release guidance to systems to support their IF journey. This includes further detail on what an IF is, what they should look like, and how it will help decision-making. The Strategy Unit have developed a toolkit to provide systems with resources to help systems deliver to this guidance.

How these webinars can help you design your own IF

Included in the Strategy Unit toolkit are 10 case studies of sites who have already started building system-level intelligence structures.

To coincide with the release of the toolkit, we hosted four webinars in May 2022 to provide a more in-depth view from a selection of these sites. Each includes a presentation from key stakeholders involved and a facilitated Q&A to uncover some of the challenges they have faced, and how they have overcome them. These are designed to provide ideas and inspiration to other systems, as they put in place plans for their own IFs.
